movin and a shakin

 Kohen has really started moving around. He will be crawling any day now! He is up on his hands and knees and rocking. He is just so amazing! I have been spending his naptime today putting together all of the video I've taken and making a movie on iMovie. It turned out not too bad for my 1st film! Ha Ha! It is a compilation of his first 7 months. I still can't believe that he is already 7 months old!

7 months

Here is one of Kohen's 7 month pics that I took! He is sooo big. I weighed him yesterday and he is 17 lbs 9 oz!!! WOW! He is trying to crawl still and is scooting on his belly, like an army crawl. He is just growing up sooo fast!

He is just about 17 lbs now and trying to crawl!!!! He is getting SOOOOO big! He also is starting to copy sounds and noises we make, it is so funny! It is a busy busy life!

Smiles and cuteness

He was just buckets of smiles yesterday so I had to take a bunch of pictures! I just love it when he smiles! We also got out on a nice long walk yesterday because it was so warm out. The dogs were very happy to get a walk in that didn't include freezing to death! Kohen slept during the walk but that is ok, I enjoyed it very much!

2 month pics

Here are some 2 month pictures of Kohen. He is getting SOOO big! At his 2 month appointment he was 11 lbs 15 ozs and 24 inches long! He is sooo long that he doesn't fit the length in 0-3 months sleepers anymore and we have graduated to 3-6 month Gymboree sleepers because they fit snug enough and are plenty long! Everything is going well here, he has started waking up every 3-4 hours at night to eat now... He was doing so well sleeping 5-6 hours at a time. Too good to be true I guess.

I went and got Kohen's pictures taken last week! He was less than enthused to be photographed at that time! Here are a few, I have 75 but I have to rotate them and stuff so I didn't want to put all goffy angle pics up! But here are a few.

1 month pics

These are from Kohen's 1 month b-day! Such a cutie! We've been doing well. Kohen sleeps, usually from 10 pm to 4/4:30 am! Yay! He actually napped for about a half hour in his crib in his room the other day too! I think when he hits 2 months we will try and get him to stay in his own room and take down the pack n play in our room. He is going through a growth spirt right now and wants to eat ALL of the time! I can not get anything done around the house because of this, poor Kevin hes to pick up the slack... Kohen gets baptized this weekend! I'm looking forward to seeing my family!

Dr's appt

Kohen is 9 lbs 11 oz and 22 3/4 in long! Boy how he has grown! We are officially too big for newborn clothes now! The Dr said he looks perfect and is doing everything he should plus a little more, he does a little rolling (not completely over but from side to side) and he is VERY strong. So that is my baby update! All is good in the Lindquist household!

He looks so peaceful sleeping here! He actually slept in his pack n play during the day for 4 hours!

I got on the scale with him yesterday and he is 9 and a half pounds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GO BREASTMILK! He is doing well, still with the baby acne but oh well. He is starting to sleep a little longer at night, we are getting at least 4 hours inbetween most feedings during the night. Daytime ranges from 2-4 hours inbetween feedings. Amazingly he still fits in his newborn clothes, which I think will end here shortly because he is getting so big! It is amazing how fast they grow. He is starting to really look at things now, I was talking to him the other day and he was just fixated on my face and when I smiled he would smile back. He also loves his mobile on his swing, he will just stair at it!

We are so excited to see everyone at Christmas! Happy Holidays!

3 weeks old today! We are so excited to go up north for Christmas and introduce Kohen to everyone! I can't wait to see my family!

The baby acne is starting to get a little better, but he still has dry skin and cradle cap... Poor guy...

Our next Dr's appointment is 12/31, I can't wait to see how much he weighs!
