pregnancy brain

OK I'm jumping ahead of myself! I will be 21 weeks monday and I skipped week 20... Wow I don't even know how far I am sometimes, dang pregnancy brain... Makes you all silly and forgetful... OH WELL!

News from our ultrasound

So I called the Dr's office to see how my ultrasound report looked and here it goes... He is 339 grams, which is nearly 12 oz (which is measuring on the bigger side for 19 4/7 weeks when we had it done), he has a 3 vessel cord (normal), and all the other findings were NORMAL!!!!! My Dr's nurse said that we have a perfect little baby boy growing in there! The only thing is he is a tiny bit big, at 20 weeks 10.5 ozs is normal. I guess that goes along with the GIANT babies we have in our families!!! I was 8 lbs and Kevin was pretty darn big at over 9 lbs! So we are expecting a good sized baby as of right now! He is just so cute on his ultrasound pictures!!!!! BUT I am partial because he is my little man! I will post a picture of 22 weeks soon. I know I missed 21 weeks (I am getting bigger though!)

19 4/7 wks

So here is our little guy! If you all haven't guesses by the "baby boy" sticker on the picture, the baby is a BOY! (or so they told me, even though I'm pretty sure I saw some definate boy parts on the ultrasound). So we are going to be welcoming a little man to our house... I'm going to have to get a girl dog or something, I will be outnumbered 4 to 1 by boys!!!! AHH! So the doctor said everything looks great so far, yay! He is right on track with his growth and he is very active, but he was very good for the ultrasound and let the tech get all the pictures that he needed. He certainly is NOT camera shy that is for sure! So we are not changing the nursery or what our plans are for colors or anything just in case he turns out to be a she when he is born, who knows it does happen. BUT like I said, I am sure I saw boy parts and the tech said "that is definately a boy, see the little mountain." So we don't have a picture of that part of him but here is the rest! I think he is pretty cute already!!! SOOO if anyone has any cute boy hand me down clothes that are in good shape, let me know!!!! J/K! We are still going pretty neutral, like I said because you NEVER know!!!!!!!!!!! So we are hoping for the rest of the pregnancy to go as smoothly as it has been and we are praying for a VERY healthy baby boy! I will keep you all posted!

19 wks

Here we are 19 weeks, almost halfway there! Getting bigger each week. I guess it is probably more noticable to me because it is my body, but I think I'm getting bigger. The baby is still pretty active. Kevin actually felt it move last night, I think it kicked his hand when he put it on my belly. He thought it was pretty neat, it was the first time he really was able to feel the baby move. My ultrasound is Friday! Hopefully all is well with the baby! I will post ultrasound pictures this weekend!

Alright here I am at 18 weeks. I offically look pregnant and not just heavy around the belly!! He he he! There has been lots of movement lately, it is a very active baby so far! I can't wait for a week from friday when we get to see the baby and get all it's measurements!!!

Alright I know it has been awhile BUT this picture was taken in LA Cali when I was visiting my bestest friend Katie! I know there isn't much of a difference from the last pic except for Kevin insists that I lost weight in my face... WELL all of the walking we did in Cali I'm not in the least bit surprised if I did! This is a picture of me at 17 wks. The baby is moving around like crazy when it does move ever so often. It seemed to move the most when I was on the plane. I go for my anatomy ultrasound on July 18th, Kevin's 27th birthday!!! Happy birthday to him! We are still going back and forth with finding out the sex of the baby, he wants to know and I don't want to know... SOOOO I'm hoping that we can keep it a surprise or the baby will not show us it's little parts. Kevin's workout stuff has officially been moved to the garage from the baby's room, all we have to do is get all of our misc jackets out of the baby's closets and we are ready to start moving baby stuff in. I don't have anything yet but an adorable blanket, some bibs, booties, and a stuffed doggy (from Kevin's mom). We did start the registry though, at Babies R Us and Target, so we know what we mostly need, except for that I keep thinking of stuff and adding stuff to it. It is amazing all of the things babies need!!!!! I am going to take a tip from one of my friends and start buying a pack of diapers each time I grocery shop so that it doesn't all add up when the baby gets here. She said she started buying diapers as soon as she found out she was pregnant! I have to say I haven't gotten any yet but I will definately start soon.
